Purple Satin Elizabeth Taylor Passion Perfume Gown
This gown designed by Nolan Miller was worn by Elizabeth Taylor for her 1987 Passion Perfume campaign and advertisements. Nolan designed this gown especially for Elizabeth to encompass the image she wished to portray for her very first fragrance— romantic, glamorous, and in her all time favorite color of violet. Elizabeth publicly wore this gown again a year later in 1988 to the Starlight Convention which was honoring Barry Manilow.
For her second appearance in this gown Elizabeth had four bushels of faux violets nestled in between the satin bows at the shoulders.
